Bones Coffee Company
We've been holding out on giving this coffee review for a bit, as we thought it'd be most appropriate for Shark Week! Most known from Discovery's beloved week of tv dedicated to the Bruce's of the ocean(Finding Nemo). This roast will get you going and have you ready to take a bite out of anything the ocean sends you! Bone Coffee Company really bit off the competition with this medium rum flavored roast. It's a medium 100% arabica bean infused with spices for a spiced buttered rum taste. If the description from the Bones Coffee Company site wasn't enough to sell you the taste should be.
Spices can be a huge hit or miss in any recipe, blend or infusion yet Shark Bite seems to bite just right. The medium arabica smoothly rolls in first infusing into the spice that finishes strong with the base notes of buttered rum. We used our french press to brew this roast and at first tasted it sans creamer. We found we liked it best with a caramel creamer to bring out the buttered rum. Overall starting your day taking a bite out of life with Shark Bite is something we can get behind all week.
