Any coffee stand running since 1862, open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day should know a thing or two about coffee. Specializing in only coffee and beignets Cafe Du Monde is a coffee lovers dream. New Orleans is one of our favorite cities in the United States, creating a European vibe stateside only the Big Easy delivers. Any time of day you can get your coffee fix with a delicious side of beignets strolling through the Vieux Carre.
The packaging of the coffee from Cafe Du Monde is coffee iconic. Coming in an adorable tin can sealed shut that you need a can opener for, this keeps the grounds super fresh. No you can't beat actually being in New Orleans but you can sip this joe eyes closed and get pretty close. We aptly french pressed this coffee to pay homage to the name. Sipping this blend of 100% Arabica bean juice cup you feel the need for an order of beignets straight from the kitchen. It's a perfect companion to any sweet breakfast balancing the flavors out. Sans chicory this is a perfect alternative for those who aren't a huge fan of the flavor. We'll be posting our thoughts soon on that iconic brew but for now if you need us we'll be listening to Satchmo dreaming of post Covid strolls in our favorite haunted southern city.
