Dulce de Leche Cookie

Dunkin Donuts

We know, a Dunkin Donuts roast review has been long over-due on this blog. It's a mainstream coffee company that's rival to Starbucks and practically on every corner in Massachusetts. We will have the original roast to post sooner than later in The Drip but we were way to excited about Dulce de Leche Cookie. This turned out to be for good reason as it's an exceptionale coffee blend for the price, obtainability and taste point. We purchased ours at our local Target but we're sure you can find this pretty much anywhere or just stop by your local Dunkin Donuts. The bag even states this was a winner of the your favorite flavor contest. Which was a huge reason we also wanted to give it a sip. It's a smooth medium roast made just from Arabica beans nothing else.

We brewed this our favorite way in our French Press on a warm Sunday morning excited to give it a try. The flavor isn't powerful but smooth and mellow when you first take a sip. The dulce de leche hits about mid taste and finishes last. The coffee does come pre ground for those of you who enjoy freshly ground coffee it's a bit of a disappointment. It's still delicious though and worth a brew on sweet tooth craved mornings. We also to finish off the experience purchased the Dunkin Donuts Extra Extra Creamer. This paired well for folks who enjoy creamer in their morning joe. It didn't take away from the cookie flavor but enhanced it making the coffee milkier. We'd suggest going slow on the creamer as this can get extremely sweet fast for those who don't want an overpowering sweetness to their coffee. We definitely recommend this roast!
