Christmas Tea

Mad Elves Christmas Tea Party

We are huge coffee drinkers (as you all know) but we also love a good cup of tea throughout the day. Here's review of our favorite Christmas Tea that gets us through December.

Tea has so many options of flavors it can be overwhelming and seasonal tea's are no exception.

If you have a tea drinker in your life take note because this brand is even enjoyed by the Queen of England herself! So let us introduce you to Darvilles of Windsor. The tea has had a Royal Warrant since 1946 and has been in business since 1860 in England, ran by the same family for five generations. With such a rich history they must know something about tea right? They have unique flavors to enjoy during different seasons if variety is needed. The packaging also comes in cute bright boxes to distinguish the varieties.

Christmas tea smells amazing right out of the package or even just sitting on the kitchen counter. The packaging also is vibrate purple accompanied by snowflakes to get that festive vibe. One package comes with 50 tea bags and the box looks tiny but will last you awhile! After you have brewed your cup, the spice and orange aromas flow through the air making it smell just like Christmas tea should. This tea is a fine black tea that is flavored with winter spices, orange and cinnamon. So we recommend being careful with any milk or creamers your looking to pour in that can clash with the flavor. We enjoy ours with tiny bit of sugar and nothing else since the flavor is powerful. Overall we give this tea our full support for being not only festive in flavor, but aroma to enjoy sipping by the Christmas Tree or fairy light strolls.

So do you have to make a trip across the pond to purchase it? While Fresh Market has been our point of sale for our past purchases, we were unlucky they didn't carry it this season. We did find we were able to purchase online at Online Stores. This tea is also made in limited amounts for the season. Which may have been the reason why many places even online had already been sold out. Online Stores did get it to us in a less than a week. This made us happy to pay the little extra in shipping for a festive drink. They also still have it in stock for those looking to bring the festive season into the New Year.
