Chili

Sunday Cooking Fun

Ingredients:

1 Package of Ground Beef(16 oz or 1 pound)

1 Green Pepper

1 White Onion

3 Tbs Chili Powder

1 Tbs Salt

1 Tbs Pepper

1 Can of Diced Tomatoes

1 Can of Kidney Beans

1 Can of Pinto Beans

1 Tbs Salted Butter

1 block of Cheddar Cheese/Bag of Shredding Cheddar


Cooking:

Start by chopping the onion and green pepper till they are fully diced.

Take a pot or dutch oven and place the onion, green pepper with 1Tbs of butter.

Saute together till the onion starts to look translucent.

Throw in the ground beef and cook with the onion/pepper.

At this time also add the salt and pepper. Take 1 of the 3 Tbs of chili powder and add into the pot. (We add the Chili Pepper little by little tasting as we go. This chili is mild and doesn't have much spice too it but we recommend upping the chili powder if you'd like spicier.)

When the ground beef is fully cooked add the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, and pinto beans.

Shred the cheddar cheese.

Dish up and place desired amount of cheddar cheese on top.
