Reviews are a funny thing and in a world of Amazon Prime a lot of people look to reviews at times for helping to determine to help buy a product. So far on our blog we've been pretty upbeat on our coffee reviews. However we sadly couldn't say much good on the Jacked 'O' Lantern roast. The adorable headless horsemen graphic didn't even lift our spirits. Brewed via french press and tasted sans sugar, creamer or additions the taste of pumpkin spice was amiss.
After a huge love for the Salted Caramel brew we were a little heartbroken to not be able to love this sample. Knowing Bones makes terrific other roasts we urge readers to not take this review as a negative for the company. We just simply didn't like this roast. We felt it was missing pumpkin and the spices didn't hit right at all. We did find pairing if with a pumpkin creamer saved the day so not all was lost in this cup of morning joe. I know some fellow coffee drinkers who are huge fans of this roast in fall so it might be perfect for you. However we'll be sipping with Salted Caramel Bae as you enjoy your Pumpkin Spice roast.
