A Very Coffee Christmas

We're making our lists but not Brewing it Twice!

Nothing's the same this year and Christmas isn't shaping up to be it's usually jolly time of year for most people and families in 2020.

So we thought we'd give a list of the top 10 Christmas gifts for coffee lovers from the Coven to help.

  1. A Coffee Subscription - We know you're rolling your eyes saying this is digital, contactless, and I'm not giving an actual gift! Yet, 2020 is all about social distancing, contactless and virtual times so why not embrace it? A Coffee subscription for a coffee addict is the perfect way to go. For a (one time price or monthly) of their favorite brand you can bring caffeinated joy right to their door. How easy is that to give the perfect gift? We suggest asking what they recommend for a morning brew and then do some virtual digging to see the options their fave roaster have! Have a look at this awesome list of the best 25 coffee subscriptions as well by Urban Taste Bud for a starting point!

  2. Sample Packs - No clues on where to start and they're not sharing their favorite morning brew? A sample pack with an assortment of flavors is a place to start! Most roasters have some terrific samples to get customers started. Our favorite pick is Bones Coffee Company as you can choose 5 sample flavors in the pack. Making you the perfect coffee Santa!

  3. French Press - For coffee beginners or even experts in the family we suggest jumping on Amazon and starting the search for a French Press. A staple in any coffee lovers life it's essential and you can never have to many! Just keep in mind the color (there's a ton) and style that might make the gift seem curated perfectly for them!

  4. Mugs - I mean this is kind of a given but does any coffee addict really have enough mugs for our joe? Never. If they're a Star Wars fan, Disney obsessed or even an influencer there's mugs for everyone. Target has some adorable themed mugs each year that we've linked on here! Also check out their favorite roaster as most coffee company's these days have brand mugs that make terrific gifts!

  5. Milk Frother - Some reading this is list are going what and why? Well, until the last few years we thought this also would be a meaning-less gift but let me tell you. Frothy warm milk or creamer for those who love to add to their coffee is essential. Starting from 15-150 the price can be a flexible point for gift giving but deliver. We first started ourselves with a Nespresso frother and recently upgraded to a Smeg due to how much we ended up using it (plus Smeg's is dishwasher safe). Depending on the machine there's some amazing options on some. Who doesn't want barista whipped creamer or milk without the hassle of leaving home? Check out this low budget option from Target!

  6. Electric Kettle - This is pretty much a staple in most kitchens now days but if the coffee addict in your life doesn't have one this is the gift they NEED. A coffee requirement for brewing is hot water. Now if a normal kettle is more budget friendly by all means go that route but electric kettles are now running pretty cheap these days. Amazon has a great selection and they're super convenient when brewing your morning joe. We personally have a Smeg and love it but we know it's not the most budget friendly option, although it's cute as a kettle could be. An electric kettle makes it super easy to read emails while brewing your favorite coffee and most boil water in under 2 mins.

  7. Pour Over Brewer - For most coffee enthused this is a must have gift as well. It's one of the best tried and true ways of brewing coffee plus it looks super neat. Feeling like a mad scientist as they brew their morning joe, the coffee addict in your life will love this gift!

  8. Coffee Machine - Going all out, if you're going looking for the perfect coffee machine gift we highly suggest taking a look at the Nespresso line. Keurig is a great option as well but if your looking for a little more, Nespresso is definitely a step above in our opinion. By all means this doesn't speak any ill on Keurig it's just not our first pick but we've provided a link to their site so you can have a look! The selection of coffee with Nespresso is large with a rotation of flavors through-out the year depending on the season with an auto order option. So the coffee addict in your life can have coffee straight to their door like the Christmas Santa Nespresso is all year long!

  9. Coffee Bar Swag - If you have a coffee addict obsessed in your life, you'll know we each love a tiny corner of our kitchen dedicated to brewing our morning joe. Coffee swag is a great small gift that fits any budget and can deliver big like Santa. Etsy is a great starting point with coffee signs, hangers for mugs, or cute bits and bobs. It's a wonderful place to peruse and find a unique gift.

  10. Gift Card - we know this can be generic and usually the last resort. However if you're really lost on the perfect gift try going with a gift card from their favorite brewer! It's the best last minute gift that shows you definitely tried.
